New Men’s High School Lacrosse Officials 2-Day Clinic
This clinic is for brand new officials, and those returning after taking a few years off. You may have officiated other sports but never played lacrosse; you may have played lacrosse but never officiated any sport; you may have never played or officiated. For these reasons among others, the TMLOA offers a new official's orientation clinic that should address most of your concerns with regard to officiating lacrosse.
The purpose of this clinic is to help you become familiar with the basics of lacrosse officiating so that when we begin the weekly pre-season clinics, the week of January 7th, you have a base of knowledge to build on. It is our hope that this clinic allows you to easily assimilate into the regular pre-season clinics where the topics and discussion are often confusing to the new official who hasn't attended an introductory clinic such as this.
You must be 19 years or older to be a high school official.
Officials should attend all sessions. Lunch will be provided.
Clinics will be conducted by Triangle Mens Lacrosse Officials Association (TMLOA) clinicians and trainers.
